A Musical Extravaganza

where 60 performers are set to whisk you away on a journey through

 100 years of our history.

 This will be a nostalgic evening that you will not want to have missed!

 Live music! Our marvelous Community Choir! The Nefeli Theatre Group!

 This will be a night to remember – to reflect and to recognize -  100 years of where we came  from – where we came to – and all the history that is unique to our Community!

 The wheels of history set in motion! …The passage of time! …The precise moments! …. The sound of a steam liner’s fog horn ….

 Faced with the unknown – in a new land – with just a suitcase in hand.

 Let us revisit: the nostalgia; the loneliness and uncertainty and witness the struggles and marvel at the achievements.

 The pledge … The legacy…. The hope.

 This is not a story that is unique to just our culture – but what is unique is that we are an example of a successful integration into our adopted homeland all the while keeping and nurturing our own heritage and ethnicity.

 So that old suitcase –  is now open for all us to peer into 100 years later.

 It contains: Pride. Passion. Determination. Perseverance. Ingenuity. Remembrance.

All the building blocks that a Community needs to grow and prosper.
